Good People Brewing Co.

As their little corner of the Magic City has grown, they've grown with it. But one thing has never changed: their passion for brewing great beer for good people.
UAB Campus and Medical Center
Dreams and Discoveries
In 1969, the University of Alabama at Birmingham was born—an independent institution rooted in the Magic City, created from the union of a university extension center and a pioneering academic medical center. Since then, UAB has saved lives, solved problems, expanded knowledge, and opened doors. Their ideas and innovations have energized our community and transformed Alabama into a destination for anyone ready to change the world.
Children's of Alabama
Amazing as Their Potential
Since 1911, Children’s of Alabama has provided specialized medical care for ill and injured children. With more than 2 million square feet, it is one of the largest pediatric medical facilities in the United States. Children’s of Alabama is the only medical center in Alabama dedicated solely to the care and treatment of children. It is a private, not-for-profit medical center that serves as the primary site of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) pediatric medicine, surgery, psychiatry, research and residency programs.
Red Mountain Theatre
Transforming Lives Through Theatre
With its own unique Cabaret Theatre located right in the heart of downtown Birmingham’s Theatre District and summer Mainstage productions performed at the Dorothy Jemison Day Theater at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, Red Mountain Theatre Company continues to bring both well-known national performers and incredible local talent to the Birmingham stage. RMTC will now take the stage for its most transformational performance yet – the creation of an arts campus in the Parkside District located at 1600 3rd Ave. South between 16th & 17th Streets South next to Regions Field.

Our Roots Run Deep in Red Dirt

Visit Red Mountain Park to experience some of the mountain's best attractions: 15 miles of trails featuring two city overlooks, three breathtaking tree houses, the 6-acre off-leash Remy’s Dog Park and adventures like the Vulcan Materials Zip Trip and Kaul Adventure Tower.
The Original Iron Man
What kind of city builds a huge statue of a burly, bearded, bare-bottomed man to tower over its entire population? One that never forgets its roots. Vulcan, the Roman god of fire and forge, watches over all of Birmingham as a symbol of the city’s iron origins–and the ever-present spark of its indomitable spirit.
